Angela Kohn is a surface pattern designer who creates designs with an Asian essence. Her work is originally derived from intricately drawn plants and flowers which are taken into cyanotype experimentation and Photoshop, creating her own unique style for both traditional and digital designing. Angela is inspired by botanicals and Eastern designs which through her detailed drawings and textile experimentation have an ethereal flair. Her desire to push the boundaries of cyanotype, by experimenting with unusual materials and surfaces, have allowed her to create her own unique pathway within this traditional process taking it from the 2-Dimensional to the 3-Dimensional.
